I recently inherited two of these bikes and both bikes had no spark. Just wanted to say thank you so much for putting this video out. Ended up being the same issue as you. I have to clean points on stator and pads and gap the point. Such a fun bike.

What type of jets are the ones for the carbs?

Will this work for my Triumph T100 doing the same thing?

Do the diodes have to have a specific value? Did you also use a single LED relay for the LED brake, front and back turn signals conversion?

I just bought a KLR and it has this problem. Great video and certainly will help a ton when I fix it!

Nice build! And thanks for the info on jetting. I juat picked up a '76 CB550K that someone got a start on to cafe it. Lot's of goodies, dynatek ignition, same header you have, decent paint, sidecovers in good shape. But I think I like the scrambler version and will go that way. Also I think the front fender brace is important on these old bikes, keeps the front end from getting all noodly when carving two lane roads.

Wow its been 7 month since your last video. Hope nothing bad happened and you're just taking a break from this unprofitable UA-cam thing. One day you may feel like posting again, and we would all would like to know what happened, what happened to your shop, the full time Tubing thing (obviously that didn't work out) and all the bikes you were working on etc etc. rsm8

Wow, I love the style of this bike, well done. I've got a 1980 CB650 Which I hope to build into something like this one day. right now its got all the mods from the previous owner, some which I like, others I don't. He looked after it very well and kept all the service records right from when it was imported into my country so there's no problem using it every day. I notice I've got the some gauges as you too!

i do have a 1976 honda cb400f,can you please explain how and where is the location to adjust the air and fuel screw outside without disconnecting all carbs parts,i just cant find it lol"thank you.......

Most custom-builders are just ruining the bikes, keep it as stock as possible

does this work if you flashers stay solid ?

Pod O filters are absolutely the worst thing you can put on your bike if you're going to do that at least use the phone once those are good the pot filters are f****** trash

Hello. I picked up a 86 Suzuki intruder project. LED headlight already installed. Flashers don’t work at all. Running lights only. Rears are currently missing. Wondering how to remedy this. Sincerely Noob to all this

Can you help me with how to integrate the spark unit in the wiring diagram of a Honda Shadow vt750c '84. Everything is working wel, i only don't know how to connent the spark units and coils with an m-unit. At revival they have a schedule from m unit to a relay to spark units (cdi) to the coils. But how to do that with my bike?

No fuel filters on a 2 stroke, the 2 stroke slowly clogs them. Thanks

I thought these indestructible BMW flying brick things never broke. Apparently another myth busted. Why do people neglect and abuse motorcycles so bad. Never store a motorcycle outside in the weather. Park it at least under a roof. You got to know, if that thing had just been pushed under a barn roof 20 years ago and nothing more, it would be covered in dust and bird poo, but in so much better condition overall.

I feel the wire wheel may be a bit too aggressive, at least mine is. I normally go for pure brass wire wheels just to be safe.

Guys, who might help me with my CB500 four headlight, m-unit, stock headlight switch (3 position) connection/wiring? I did all the bike wiring, but got stuck on that one. It's slight different compere the one that's in the video. Help would be welcome a lot. PM.

Do you still do the vapor blasting as a service if I ship it to you? I have a 1981 CB650 carb broke down currently and would really like to have them cleaned up. Does the vapor blasting remove pretty much everything from the carbs?

I got a 1983 Kawasaki csr650. I have a compression of 110 on number 1 and 100 on the rest. Do you think it’s possible to still run and drive or will I need to do a rebuild?
